San Antonio Art: Art Exhibits for the week of April 23-28
We’re in the season of Fiesta here in San Antonio. Our Fiesta began in 1890 with the first Battle of Flowers parade, featuring horse-drawn carriages and bicycles. People threw flower blossoms back and forth and at each other. Within a few years, the events began expanding until a bona fide San Antonio tradition was born. The modern Fiesta is organized by the Fiesta San Antonio Commission and includes hundreds of events over a week and bringing millions of dollars of revenue to the city.
More details about Fiesta can be found at the official website.
Along with Fiesta, there are a number of art exhibits opening in and throughout this week. The following list can be seen in its entirety at the San Antonio Express News Website.
